Letter from Hazrat Dr. Nour Ali Tabandeh, Majzoub Ali Shah
Addressed to Engineer Sayyid Alireza Jazbi Sabit Ali

Honorable Brother, Engineer Sayyid Alireza Jazbi Sabit Ali, may God preserve him:

After offering greetings, now that you are about to travel abroad, I wish you a safe and fruitful journey. Perhaps you may also take the opportunity to check on the complete well-being of yourself and your family. I hope that the fuqara and friends residing there are granted the success to gain the utmost spiritual benefit from your presence. I also remind you of the following points, which I ask you to convey to all the brothers on my behalf:

  1. Even the slightest discord or bitterness among the fuqara is blameworthy. God willing, no such issue exists, and any division—if present—will be resolved through your presence and transformed into harmony and affection, becoming a true example of كَأَنَّهُم بُنْيَانٌ مَّرْصُوصٌ .
  2. The Friday night and Monday night gatherings are strongly emphasized. Everyone should strive to attend, and even if unable, they should at least consider themselves present at the gathering at sunset, even if alone. During the hours of the gathering, the host is the Master (the Divine Friend); the person who appears to be the owner of the house is merely the servant.
  3. The classification of duties into three categories—[Shari‘a – Tariqat – Personal acts]—should be explained and discussed. A dervish as such does not involve themselves in politics or social affairs, but the individual Dervish should recognize and fulfill their personal responsibilities. Whatever is performed under spiritual instruction and with sincere intention is correct and accepted.
  4. Attention must be given to observing Islamic mystical manners and embodying their moral virtues.
  5. Regarding other Islamic sects, one should act in the spirit of Islamic brotherhood. For other mystical paths, follow the guidelines provided in Pand-e Saleh. Peace.
