Response from Hazrat Haj Dr. Nour Ali Tabandeh, Majzoub Ali Shah
to Mr. Haj Shams al-Din Haeri “Ershad Ali”

To the honorable and esteemed brother, Mr. Haj Shams al-Din Haeri Ershad Ali, may his successes increase,

Greetings. I pray for your health and growing success from the Most Merciful. In response to the matters you wrote, kindly communicate the following to the fuqara:

  1. As was also mentioned in the Nowruz Declaration, the esteemed Mashayekh and authorized prayer leaders (mujazzin-e namaz) must be exemplary in conduct and speech. Since the purpose of granting prayer authorization is to promote order and cohesion in Dervish gatherings outside Tehran, such authorized individuals must not travel without permission from this humble one. Likewise, the fuqara should not directly request their travel.
  2. For those whose authorization specifies limitations in location or time—since such limitations, like the permissions themselves, fall under the discretion of the Qutb—authorized individuals whose permission is restricted to a city, province, or specific times (e.g. Friday and Monday night gatherings) must not lead group prayers outside their assigned area, and the Mashayekh must not instruct them otherwise.
  3. Authorized individuals with restricted permissions are to be treated like all other fuqara outside their designated area.
  4. Our dear brothers in Isfahan and Qom who, under special circumstances and by the guidance of the Mashayekh, lead prayers—we thank them, but they must remember their permissions apply strictly to those special conditions.
  5. In the Kerman province, with appreciation for the care and dedication of Haj Seyyed Mohammad Reza Ghaei, in his absence—or with his and the fuqara’s request—only the respected brother Mr. Mahmoud Delavari is authorized, per the permission granted, to lead group prayers in Dervish gatherings.
  6. إِلَّا بِحَبْلٍ مِّنَ اللَّهِ وَحَبْلٍ مِّنَ النَّاسِ ;
    إِنَّ اللَّهَ بَالِغُ أَمْرِهِ قَدْ جَعَلَ اللَّهُ لِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدْرًا — After the sorrowful incident of the Husayniyya destruction in Qom, and to prevent the suspension of Dervish gatherings and group prayer, temporary and limited verbal permission (time- and location-bound) was given to a few, including Mr. Amir Ali Labbaf, to lead group prayers in Qom. Given the challenges he faces and the fact that he is considered a beginner in the spiritual domain, the fuqara should be informed, and Mr. Labbaf himself must refrain from leading prayer.
  7. Other than the permissions publicly known to the fuqara, whose copies are available to all, no other orders or authorizations exist.

فَوَيْلٌ لَّهُم مِّمَّا كَتَبَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَوَيْلٌ لَّهُم مِّمَّا يَكْسِبُونَ

Your humble servant,
Haj Nour Ali Tabandeh
Majzoub Ali Shah
