Reminders from His Holiness Haj Dr. Noor Ali Tabandeh, Majzoub Ali Shah
for the Fuqara of Fars Province
Esteemed Fuqara of Fars Province (May their successes increase)
Greetings. God, in His grace, has opened the doors of His mercy to you, and by His praise, the gathering of the “fuqara” in “faqr” assemblies—with order, silence, and a state of attentiveness through cooperation and mutual harmony—has been granted to you. I hope this state of love and success continues to grow. I draw the attention of the “fuqara” of that province to the following points:
- Although whenever a few “fuqara” sit together for God and in His remembrance, it constitutes a “faqr” assembly, as you know, the official “faqr” gatherings in Shiraz are held only at the “Husayniyya”-ye Saleh on Friday and Monday nights, and at the sacred tomb of His Holiness Rahmat Ali Shah (qaddas-sirrah) on Fridays. Therefore, we have no other official gatherings in Shiraz, and if individuals hold gatherings outside these two venues in Shiraz, it will lead to division.
- I was pleased to learn that in some counties of Fars Province, some “fuqara” have declared themselves committed and responsible for attending to the affairs of the “fuqara” , and in this way, are personally working to resolve the problems and address the issues of their own localities. In reality, this is a social duty for all “fuqara”.
- As the “fuqara” of Shiraz and some counties of Fars Province have requested through letters they signed, that I communicate any instructions or special messages through the authorized channels there, this request is appropriate and has been accepted. Therefore, any message or instruction other than through that channel is not approved and should not be heeded or spread.
- Due to certain circumstances, temporary permissions were previously issued, and some of those permissions have now been revoked. Those who held such permissions, as previously stated, hold the respect due to ordinary and humble “fuqara”, and the “Mashayekh” should not extend any additional honors based on their former permissions, as this may lead to confusion among the “fuqara”.
- The permissions of the “Mashayekh” and authorized individuals are public, and the scope of each one’s authority has been defined and approved by this humble one. Others who make such claims and possibly travel, engage in “faqr”-related matters, organize gatherings, and especially meet with women, are certainly acting without this humble one’s permission and are potentially harmful agents.
In conclusion, I pray to God for the prosperity of the gatherings, unity and solidarity among the “fuqara”, and the increase of the state of attentiveness and love in the “fuqara” of that province. I also pray for the preservation, health, and strengthening of the faith of all “fuqara”.
