Regarding the Necessity of Following the Instructions of the Grand Religious Authorities, Especially Grand Ayatollah Khomeini (May his blessings endure)

I would like to inform my faithful brothers: the fifty-year corruption of the Pahlavi dynasty became apparent to all, and the majority of our fellow countrymen suffered under its pressure and hardship. Many times, this faqir expressed concern and distress about the situation, and pointed out the unlawful and unethical actions and widespread corruption both in gatherings and even directly to some of those in authority. I openly stated that the outcome of these violations would soon catch up with them. By the grace and might of God, this rule approached its end, and the dawn of the Islamic government under the leadership of the esteemed Grand Ayatollah Khomeini (May God prolong his life) was a source of glad tidings for all our dear countrymen, especially the true believers.

This faqir, in response to those brothers who had asked about their religious duty, had previously made it known, and now reiterates, that for numerous reasons, it is necessary to follow the instructions of the grand religious authorities, particularly Grand Ayatollah Khomeini (May his blessings endure). Everyone should read the statements issued by His Eminence and implement the directives precisely. With the support of the purified souls of the Seal of the Prophets, Ali al-Murtaza, and the eleven successors of those great figures, it is essential at this time—when the great revolution has borne fruit and true Islam is being realized under the guidance of the great leader of the Shia world, Grand Ayatollah Khomeini—in this land that for centuries has taken pride in adhering to the Twelver Shi‘a school, that the long-held aspiration of this faqir, which is the elevation of true Islam, be fulfilled.
