Visitation Schedule for the Fuqara at the Dolatsara and Husayniyya
Issued by His Holiness Haj Sultan Husayn Tabandeh, Reza Ali Shah

In the name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.
In Him I place my trust, and from Him I seek help.

To the esteemed fuqara and honorable faithful brothers, May God grant them success and strengthen their faith, the following is presented:

Due to advancing age and resulting ailments, a significant weakness has emerged that prevents continuing with previous methods of public gatherings. Meanwhile, visits and comings and goings by the fuqara from Tehran and the provinces have increased, along with an accumulation of work and correspondence that requires responses. All of this has consumed much time and added to fatigue and weakness. Therefore, in order to still have the opportunity to serve and meet with visiting brothers, friends, and seekers, I offer the following reminders:

  1. The general gatherings of the fuqara will continue as before at the Husayniyya on Sunday and Thursday afternoons, and at the Khanqah on Dorah Mohandes on Friday mornings. The gatherings of the ladies (sisters in faith) will also follow this same schedule.
  2. At the residence, brothers and those seeking a visit may come only on Saturday, Monday, and Wednesday mornings, and only until 9:00 a.m. Outside of these times, they are requested not to trouble themselves by coming.
  3. Those who have urgent or necessary matters during the week should request an appointment in advance and then come. If they arrive without prior arrangement, it may conflict with appointments already scheduled for other brothers or non-fuqara, or I may not be at home, or the time may not be available.
  4. Ladies may come for visitation only on Thursday and Sunday afternoons at the Husayniyya. If someone is arriving from outside Tehran and intends to leave soon, or has an urgent matter, they should call in advance to request an appointment, or come on the same day as designated for the brothers. Otherwise, they should not come unannounced, as there will be no visitation time available.
  5. This announcement should also be conveyed to the fuqara in the provinces so they are informed and do not come at other times—unless they are newcomers or unaware of this schedule, or have an urgent and essential matter, in which case they will be accepted by exception.

I apologize to all the fuqara and once again clarify that the above points, which relate only to Sufi gatherings and visitations, are necessitated by severe physical weakness, accumulation of personal and communal obligations, and the high volume of visits—alongside family visitations, which also remain necessary.

And peace be upon all our faithful brothers.
