Instructions from His Holiness Haj Sultan Husayn Tabandeh, Reza Ali Shah
Regarding Fuqara Gatherings

In the name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.
In Him I place my trust, and from Him I seek help.

To the honorable and faithful brothers—May God grant them success and rectify their affairs—the following is presented:

Due to current circumstances, social considerations, considerable physical and mental fatigue, extensive personal responsibilities, attending to the affairs of the brothers, and responding to both written and verbal inquiries—which consume much time—public gatherings of the fuqara from Tehran and incoming visitors from other cities will, in general, be limited to the fuqara sessions held at the Husayniyya. Private meetings at the residence will be restricted to Saturdays until 9:00 a.m. On other days, please refrain from coming—except in cases of urgent or necessary matters for which appointments have already been made, or if I personally request a meeting for an essential matter.

In gatherings at both the residence and the Husayniyya, as has been repeatedly emphasized, the sole purpose should be visitation and the renewal of bonds of affection. Political discussions must be strictly avoided. Let not sincerity and good intentions be lost. Treat visitors who are not fuqara with friendliness, good manners, and kindness. Absolutely no crowds or demonstrations should take place in front of the residence or along the street, as this provokes hostility, incites enmity, or invites criticism.

Sisters may only attend gatherings held at the Husayniyya and must adhere strictly to previously issued general instructions, without deviation.

Peace and mercy and blessings of God be upon you.
