Reminders from His Holiness Haj Sultan Husayn Tabandeh, Reza Ali Shah
Regarding Meeting Him and Attending Gatherings

In the name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.
In Him I trust, and through Him I seek help.

To the respected and faithful brothers—May God grant them success and rectify their affairs—I convey the following:

Due to current conditions, social considerations, general physical weakness, ongoing health issues, and the many personal and communal responsibilities I must attend to—including correspondence and answering numerous written and verbal questions, which consume considerable time and leave little opportunity—I must limit general gatherings to the Husayniyya only. At home, meetings will be limited to individuals visiting from out of town upon their first arrival. Others are asked to refrain from seeking meetings unless the matter is urgent and they have obtained an appointment in advance. Without prior arrangement, meetings will not be possible—except in rare cases where I personally invite someone for a specific need.

As has been repeatedly emphasized in the past, both at the house and in the Husayniyya, the sole purpose of these gatherings is to meet and renew bonds of love and spiritual brotherhood. Political discussions and gossip must be avoided entirely. Maintain sincerity and good intention. Guests who are not members of the fuqara should also be welcomed warmly, with kindness and good conduct.

Under no circumstances should people gather in front of the house or along the street, nor should there be public demonstrations or ritual handshakes of the fuqara. All previously given instructions in this regard must be followed precisely, without deviation. Ladies should gather only in the designated area within the Husayniyya and must maintain silence and composure. Due to overwhelming responsibilities and the lack of time, I kindly ask that they do not come to the house nor request appointments, as such requests will not be accommodated.

And peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you
