Kish Husayniyya
Kish Husayniyya
Sufi Order of the Nematollahi Soltan Ali Shahi Gonabadi Dervishes
The construction of the Kish Husayniyya began in 2001 on a plot of 392 square meters with a built-up area of 345 square meters. Through the gracious support—both outward and inward—of the esteemed Master and the dedicated assistance of the noble fuqara, spiritual companions, and sincere brethren, the project was completed and made ready for use in 2004. This Husayniyya was endowed to the Nematollahi Soltan Ali Shahi Gonabadi Order for the purpose of holding gatherings for dhikr (remembrance of God), mourning ceremonies for Imam Hussain, and devotion to the holy spirits of the Twelve Imams (peace be upon them), as well as for expressing reverence to the presence of Hazrat Baqiyyatullah al-A‘zam. It was officially inaugurated by the honored Master—may God protect him—on Thursday, December 16, 2004 (3 Dhu al-Qa‘dah 1425 AH).
